SS risk assessment

My two young children have been on a CPP for 3 months and about to have a review. I'm feeling pretty distraught as I felt the SW was making comments that we may be downgraded, however the SW report recommends keeping the CPP, and that my ability to safeguard needs to be risk assessed.
I felt I had made it clear that I am being vigilant, always supervising, but I feel that because I have chosen to stay with my partner, we will never be free of this.
My SW hasn't mentioned a need to further risk assess me until I got the pre-review report through - and we've had a one to one meeting where she didn't really ask me any questions about this. I've also said at each core meeting that I am keen to engage with anything they recommend (at the initial conference they recommended that I have therapy with Lucy Faithful, but it doesn't look like such therapy for partners is a thing). The recommendation for extension of the CPP has come as a kick in the face.
I'm wondering what tools SS use to risk assess a partner? I don't know how to make it clear to them that I am keeping my children safe, adhering to the bail conditions, observing all the time, all while staying with my partner. I feel I'm being punished for trying to keep my family together.
